Tony Caunce is a visual artist born and currently resident in the UK. He practiced studio and landscape painting between 1986 and 1999 before changing his main medium to video. From 2000 to the present day he has researched and practiced video art. He draws elements of performance art, film-making and painting together to create thought-provoking, often enigmatic and sometimes hard-won moving images. His videos and video installations have been exhibited throughout the UK and Europe.
